Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actress who is most well-known for her character Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was created by Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk's parents are Peter Silk, an academic as well as Peter Silk, who was a well-known actor as well as a producer, director, writer, teacher, as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories include going to rehearsals for plays and watching her mom perform. Silk made several commercials while she was still a child. She earned a Bachelors in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced two of its first productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto for further development of her acting career in November 1999. Later, she spent the next decade, she moved in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she met at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors training. They got married in 2009 and married in a civil ceremony in December of the same year. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows in an Jewish ceremony in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk had an infant son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13, 2016. Silk has played a range of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for Gemini Awards in 2009 for her performance. In 2009 she was cast as the role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk announced to her fans that she was pregnant in January 2013 during a Showcase Season Three Special. Silk announced on Twitter June 20th, 2013 that the show was coming back in the production. Season Four premiered on June 4th 2013 by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN has named Bo's character with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about television couples of all time. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple for 2013.
